What we do

One of the things that has become apparent in this type of business is the need for flexibility. The traditional wedding is becoming more and more rare. Many weddings are happening over more than one day, in more than one location, sometimes with more than one ceremony. Our goal is to provide you with the sort of photographic coverage you expect for your special occasion. Our packages are designed around the more traditional weddings, but as many of our previous brides will attest, nothing is written in granite. It's more meant to provide a starting point from which we can customize a package to suit your particular needs and desires.

If we are hired to photograph your wedding, we like to start with an engagement shoot. This is included in all of our packages. It provides you and us with some time to get to know each other better. The better you know us, the more relaxed you'll be in your photos. The better we know you, the better we can organize and pose your portraits. From that shoot, you select an engagement portrait which we provide with a signature mat in time for your wedding. Sometime before the big day, we ask that you return to us a list of the photos you would like taken.

On the day of the ceremony, we like to show up some time before the ceremony to set up our gear. Again all of this varies with each wedding. We like to get photos of the bride and her bridal party getting ready for the wedding. If possible, we would also like to get as many of the formal portraits done before the ceremony. This allows the couple to spend more time mingling with their guests after the ceremony. We strive to get many candid photos of all the guests.

We get the proofs to you within two weeks. Our proofs are presented in a spiral bound book, as well as a slide show on DVD and CD. It's at this time that we start discussing the actual details of albums, prints, and any other products or customization we provide. This way the couple have a better understanding of what can be done with an album while selecting photos from the proofs. You can do all the album design yourself or allow us to help with the layout.

How quickly the couple get their albums depends on what they selected. We have the albums bound by a professional company, such as Art Leather and these companies determine how long it will take.

At all times through this whole process, we are always available to assist the you if you need it.

Our prices

We offer three packages ranging in price from $2500 to $3500. Each package offers an engagement shoot, an engagement print with a signature mat, so many hours of Craig's photograhic time and a bridal album. The packages only differ in the number of hours that Craig takes photos and the number of pages in the album. We also have a price list for putting together a package a-la-carte or adding any additional products or services a bride could want.
