Technical DetailsHardwareOur setup begins with two state of the art Nikon digital cameras, one main and one backup, along with a variety of Nikkor AF-S series lenses. Dual quantum battery packs are used so that we are always ready to shoot no matter how long the wedding runs. Images are regularly transferred to a computer and immediately backed up to ensure we have multiple copies of all photos. Images are checked as we shoot and then again during the transfer to verify that every scene is captured correctly. SoftwareCapturing the photographs is just the beginning of the unlimited creative possibilities using a digital workflow. Using the latest imaging and album presentation software, we can create everything from traditional to magazine-style albums where each page is a montage of your favorite photographs. Special effects, such as soft focus and glow, sepia tone, black-and-white, infra-red, and partial colorization to name a few, can all be done during post-processing. Even realistic three dimensional frames can be rendered entirely in software. As we do all of this work in-house, we can work directly with the bride and groom to give them exactly the look they want for your albums. Doing all the post-processing work in-house also allows us to get the photos to the bride and groom incredibly fast. Prints are produced either in-house or by a high-end lab specializing in digital workflows. The pages will then be bound into a high quality album of your choice from companies such as Art Leather and Albums Australia. |
